다빈치가 그린 희귀 예수 그림 경매, 천억 달러 이상 될 듯
The last privately owned Leonardo da Vinci painting is going to auction in New York next month.
The extremely rare artwork is expected to fetch about one hundred million U.S. dollars.

Christie's has announced that the once-lost Leonardo da Vinci painting of Jesus Christ is going up for sale for the first time ever.
Da Vinci's "Salvator Mundi,"... or "Savior of the World" is a portrait of Jesus Christ that dates back to the late 15th century,... and will hit the auction block on November 15th in New York.
It's estimated to sell for about 100 million U.S. dollars, making it among the most valuable artworks ever to be sold at auction.
"There are only about 15 or 16 paintings by him that have survived. And even among those several of them are unfinished so the rediscovery of a completely finished fully worked up painting by Leonardo da Vinci is the rarest of events in the art world. (...) So this is a once in a, not even a lifetime, a once in several lifetimes opportunity."
Up until the 20th century, the painting was thought to be a copy as it had been covered with layers of old repaint.
It was only when new buyers started the restoration process, and once the paint layers began to come off, that experts began to think it might be the real deal.
After careful analysis, documentation and restoration,... it was concluded the painting was the original da Vinci,... which was presumed to have been destroyed.
"He has a very distinctive and idiosyncratic painting process which you find in the Mona Lisa. You find in other works by him, and you find also in this. There are also all sorts of subtle changes that you would never really find in a copy. Shift's of his hand, movements that he where he painted it originally and then covered it up and painted it again that you just don't find it in copies."
The auction house said Andy Warhol's 1986 painting "Sixty Last Suppers,"... inspired by Leonardo's "Last Supper,"... will also be featured in its November auction in New York.
