In part 2 of our study on Gabriel, we will learn that the 70 Weeks or sevens of Daniel 9:24 is a time when God forgives the sins of His people after they forsook His holy covenant. The word "week" refers to the fulfillment of appointed feast days when we are reconciled to God throughout history. In this regard, the 70 weeks of salvation began on the day of atonement in 7 BC and will likely end on the last day of the feast of tabernacles on or shortly before 2028.
