Mince pies: are you for or against?🎄

Not everyone loves a mince pie, and I should know.

I hated - and I mean I really didn’t like - mince pies as a child…

That was until my mother found a recipe in a Christmas magazine. (No idea which one and it’s been adapted since then)

A very short orange pastry and a decadent and oozing cream cheese frosting encased inside the mince pie.

Ever since I tried one, I’ve been converted to a mince pie lover and I’ve made these every year without fail…

Trust me when I say that these are good!

I always rewarm before serving and I enjoy eating them with a generous heap of brandy butter or clotted cream.
