I used to tell people purgatory was not biblical for four reasons: 1. It's not in the Bible, 2. There are no second chances after you die, 3. There are only 2 eternal destinations -- heaven or hell, and 4. Jesus paid for our sins so we don't have to. Every one of these reasons I used to give make it obvious that I had no idea what the doctrine of Purgatory actually taught. I'll share 14 verses that will help you see that the Catholic doctrine of Purgatory is 100% biblical, and you should love, accept, and embrace it as truth.
