Kawasaki Ninja 400 is priced at INR 4.69 lakh, making the newly launched model hyper-expensive in front of the locally manufactured Ninja 300 (INR 2.98 lakh). Both the models carry similar design lines but, the list of equipment on Ninja 400 is better in comparison to the smaller Ninja. Kawasaki offers ABS on both models and, they even flaunt similar rear disc brake size. The front disc brake on Ninja 400 is larger by 20mm. The 399cc, twin-cylinder engine is good for 49HP and 38Nm.
On the other hand, the Ninja 300 is good for 39HP and 27Nm. The smaller Ninja weighs 179kg, gaining 6kg of weight over the more powerful option. Ninja 400 comes with LED headlight and Ninja 650 sourced instrument console. Kawasaki Ninja duo rivals Yamaha R3. KTM RC 390 and Benelli 302R in India. The price difference of INR 1.71 lakh makes the smaller option more value for money motorcycle among both of them.
