The range management extension specialists and land management specialists in the province work together to ensure the sustainability of public and private rangelands. Well managed rangelands contribute to a diverse and resilient landscape that supports our economy and our well-being. To ensure good management of crown lands, such as the former federally and provincially operated pastures, specialists help with science-based monitoring in these pastures each summer.
