MILB Low-A is testing the Automated Ball/Strike system. Players can appeal a call by tapping on their head, the umpire looks to the system behind the plate. The call is upheld or overturned immediately. Here Darvin Garcia(pitcher) throws a back door slider, the umpire call it strike 3, and punches out Ronny Rojas(hitter). Rojas thinks the ball is low and appeals. The call is overturned by ABS to a ball. I like the system, at the end of the day we want til he call to be correct. #GoTarpons
