I was really frustrated because two different times I recorded over the Kick drum which is the first sample in the user presets for this cool new synth sampler groove box. I did the same thing on the Liven XFM. I really wish when you are working on a user sample it didn't default to the presets because it's very easy to make this mistake.
Since I am sure it will happen again I needed to know once and for all how to easily import the samples back into this machine. ( I am assuming the XFM is a very similar procedure)
anyway I used SysEx Librarian for mac and with a lot of trial and error was able to get it to work. I also had some help from Chris Lody who guided me on a few steps that the. manual seems to overlook or not make at ALL clear.

So this before you is a step by step tutorial on how to import and export samples and also at the end you will see the video where I made a sample of my Native American Flute and wrote over the kick drum. Once you know how to do this it's also easy to copy the sample to another user slot which I did since I liked the sample.
