President Cyril Ramaphosa is under pressure to act on errant cabinet minister, rebuild the economy, act on corruption, and to sort out the wage issues between unions and the government. However, critics say Ramaphosa is a man of inaction, and prefers diplomacy over confrontation. He has also been judged by many as weak in dealing with the ANC’s divisions and his political opponents.
