● Movember: The worldwide foundation that keeps on giving. Raising funds and awareness of variety of essential men’s health issues, making fellas look debonair, giving our upper lips a warm blanket as the temperatures plummet… Inspiring beautiful, one-off compositions like ‘If You Hadn’t’

● Putting our music where our ‘tache is since 2012: every year Inspected alumni KOAN Sound, Asa and Culprate recruit a kindred spirit to create a unique, one-off track and donate the proceeds to Movember. Kicking the tradition off with Gemini, they’ve proceeded to create magic musical Mo-ments with Reso (2013) and Sorrow (2014). This year they’ve cast their collabo net even wider and recruited New Zealand’s Meraki senpai Opiuo.

● Opiuo’s skillish styles were snagged by KOAN Sound, Culprate and Asa during his European tour earlier this year. Setting up a temporary studio in Bristol, the five men spent several days creating this sublime slice of electronica. Soft focus sounds like raindrops meandering down a window pane; tones and textures gather momentum as each artist adds their trademark evocative, melodic touch and arrangement dynamic. Delicately layered with dreamy textures, it’s still rooted to the floor as each bulbous beat swings us into the future…. And it’s yours for whatever amount you choose to donate.

● Every single penny will go to Movember: a cause now 12 years deep and raising hundreds of millions worldwide for men’s health charities around the world. KOAN Sound, Asa and Culprate aren’t blessed with the right whiskers to grow a decent mo, investing serious time into creating a beautiful piece of music is their special way of highlighting the important cause.
