Alzheimer’s Disease is the most common form of dementia, it affects up to 1 in 10 Australians over the age of 65. While the cause is unkown, a key risk factor is the inevitable ageing process.
Early research demonstrated that nutrients such as omega-3, choline and uridine were important for the function of the brain and that patients with Alzheimer’s often had lower levels of these nutrients.
