Having been carried on a wave of Checkatrade emotion all week, it was back to the bread and butter of league matches with a visit to the normally frustrating and infuriating Wycombe. However, the normal time wasting and niggly fouls to break up play weren't so evident in this match as Pompey took control of the first half but only had one goal to show for it. Super Brett struck soon after half time and Pompey then managed to keep a goal in front and see it through despite Beast Mode being switched on.
Lets just see where it takes us ..... PuP!
