In this video we will show you how to make Chicken Sekuwa without coal and fire. This is a very easy way of making sekuwa in a pan with very little ingredients. It is one of the most popular street foods in Nepal.
✅ Ingredients
Boneless chicken breasts - 200 grams
Plain yoghurt - 2 tbsp
Turmeric - ½ tsp
Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
Cumin and Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Fresh ginger and garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Mustard oil - 1 tbsp
Cooking Oil - 1 tsp
➡️ Cooking instructions
- Marinade the chicken by adding yoghurt, salt, turmeric, lemon juice, red chilli powder, cumin and coriander powder, ginger and garlic paste and mustard oil. Mix and combine well.
- Refrigerate the marinated chicken for 1 hour
- Heat cooking oil in a flat pan in medium flame
- Place the marinated chicken. Cook on one side for 2 minutes then the other for approx. 3 minutes. Cook until you get a nice charred brown colour.
