The joint venture deal between the Government of Kenya and De La Rue in which the Government gets a 40 percent stake in the British firm's Kenyan subsidiary has taken almost a decade to come through.
As Alex Mwangi reports, the deal is on the spotlight for what may be termed as insufficient oversight by Parliament which had expressed its opposition to some of the proposed terms of the Joint Venture.
