Ruth King and Zenju Earthlyn Manuel are celebrated Buddhist teachers and authors. In this conversation they discuss Zenju’s new book, The Deepest Peace: Contemplations from a Season of Stillness, which documents her daily path as a modern contemplative. As she writes in the book’s introduction, “I have testified many times of my suffering. Before I die, I must speak of peace.”
