Kevin Murphy, participant of the Teagasc/Glanbia Open Source Future Farm Joint Programme is farming outside Gorey, Co. Wexford with his wife Ann and farm manager Brian Sunderland.

In this video, Programme Coordinator Richard O'Brien met with Kevin and Brian in order to get an overview of the farm and farming system.

Brian explains that by being the farm manager it is giving him more experience managing cows and as the dairy industry grows to have the ability to manage people.

In terms of joining the Programme, Kevin explains that they seen it as an opportunity to become better farmers, expecting to be better at grass, budgeting, planning and anything that can improve the technical performance of the farm.
