Rocky Peak Ridge is one of the Adirondack High Peaks. The summit sits at an elevation of 4,420' above sea level and has three-hundred and sixty degree views of the surrounding Adirondack wilderness.

The trailhead from the New Russia trail can be found off of Route 9. There is a trail sign for parking that is easy to spot. The trail states that it is 13.2 miles round trip, but like mentioned in the video, it is a few miles longer than this.

Make sure you pack a generous amount of water and snacks as this will be a long day (but worth it). There are limited spots to refill your water along this trail. Lake Mary Louise is the only body of water and I would refrain drinking from it.

The trail opens up numerous times on open rock so the views and areas to take pictures seem endless. I suggest bringing your favorite camera!
