So this is nikoberry's sequel to their level "abyss", which I beat quite a while ago. This is much, MUCH harder than the original and has more of a focus on the ship than on the timings. If this were to be rated, the ship part in this would be the hardest ship part in any rated extreme. It took me 3 DAYS to do for the first time fully and in total I only did it fully 4 times (49-100x2, 40-100, 100), similar to the ship in decks dark it relies on raw skill rather than muscle memory, and considering ship's my worst gamemode I struggled with it a lot. I think this could be a similar situation to something like amalgam but with ship instead, if you're really good at ship you'll probably find this pretty easy but if you're not as confident it'll be really, REALLY hard. Despite being 2nd half heavy I did enjoy this quite a bit, everything is super satisfying to pull off and making progress through the ship from 0 feels really exciting.
This level went through 3 verifiers (Catpogers, Nongo, Snowspike) before it got to me. I got Snowspike's version and in my version the predrop's a little easier to make it feel less bullshit, but the ship is much harder. This way hopefully it feels more skill based rather than having a bunch of slot machines in a row.
