This historical film "NATO: The Changed Face of Europe" was part of the "Big Picture" series presented by the United States Army. Dating to 1964, this film introduces viewers to NATO, the reasons that led to its creation, and the goals NATO seeks to accomplish.

(19:26) Soldiers from the United States and Canada mobilized to Europe to support the mobilization efforts.

(22:33) The European Community of Coal and Steel was established in 1951 to integrate the six countries' industries into a single common market.
