China's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying responded on Friday to the treatment of detained former Canadian diplomat Michael Kovrig, that sources say is being denied legal representation and is not allowed to turn the lights off at night, with by questioning Canada's treatment of the Chinese citizen "illegally detained," referring to Huawei's Meng Wanzhou.
