Schedule Automatic Shutdown in Windows Server 2019
1. Prepare
- DC31 : OS Windows Server 2019
2. Step by step : Schedule Automatic Shutdown
- Create a file .bat automatic Shutdown
+ Creat a file named Shutdown.txt at C: drive - Open and type : Shutdown -s -t 60 (#60 second or you want)
- Change Shutdown.txt to restart.bat :
+ Tools bar - View - Option - view - Uncheck : Hide extensions for known file types - OK
+ Change extensions .txt to .bat
- Schedule :
+ Start - Control Panel - Administrative tools - Task Scheduler - Right-click Task 'Scheduler(Local)' - Create Basic Task :
+ Create a Basic Task - Name : Shutdown
+ trigger - When do you want the task to start? : dayly (or you want)
+ Daily - Start : 11/04/2018 ; time : 4:45:00 PM (or you want)
+ Action - What action do you want the task to perform? : Start a program
+ Start a program - Browse... - C:\Shutdown.bat
+ Finish and wait...
