Smart grids rely on collecting data and remotely controlling devices to reach the expect flexibility. To do so, it requires information system infrastructure notably computer networks to enable smart devices to communicate. This video presents the elements of a computer network that constitute the new backbone of the electrical grid notably for devices like smart meters.
