Exploring a surreal hidden water fall at the magnificent Sombrio beach, in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. One of the most memorable trips of my lifetime.

Suggestion for #Parksofcanada #Canadaparks
There is no Canadian Park’s formal trail leading to this site. Perhaps with time, conservation process can be started here. It was sad to see people's initials engraved here. With proper conservation measures, access could perhaps be provided to people, so that they are able to enjoy its beauty. Perhaps Parks of Canada can think about also making the hidden falls accessible to people with mobility issues. I hope someone from Canada Parks reads this suggestion.
-------------------------
There is no cellular coverage here (up to 60 km till Sooke); there are no gas stations near by, no restaurants near by. Hence, we had planned our trip accordingly.
I have tried to summarize the directions for the waterfall.
-Reach the parking area of Sombrio Beach
-Walk down the trail to the actual beach.
-On the trail, about 1 km since start, there is a sign showing you can head to east or west Sombrio. Choose to go to east, waterfall would be on left.
-After reaching the beach, turn left and walk along the shore.
-Walk about a kilometer over sea rocks and pebbles and do a little hiking too. It is a bit difficult. Wear proper shoes. (People with mobility issues may find this challenging. So please read up before you plan to visit.)
-Keep looking to your left to find a creek about 1 Km of walking.
-Once you find that creek, walk to it, turn left and walk up the creek, there’s a small uneven trail next to it.
-The hidden waterfall is about 50 feet up the trail and totally hidden in the bushes.
Sombrio Beach is a beach in Capital Regional District, British Columbia, Canada, southeast of the settlement of Port Renfrew.
