Dave Portnoy has spoken out about Sam Ponder's firing from #ESPN after years of conflict between the two.

The #football host, along with former quarterback #Robert #Griffin III, was fired by the network as a cost-cutting measure on Thursday, according to the #Athletic's #Andrew #Marchand.

And although Portnoy and Ponder had previously had an ugly dispute, the Barstool Sports founder said he held “no grudge” against her and that there would be “no bottle of champagne” to celebrate his ouster.

“I said some things, she stood by them, she played her card, I don't hold a grudge against her…good luck on your next move,” he said.

Portnoy still maintains that Ponder was responsible for ESPN canceling 'Barstool Van Discuss' after one episode, while Ponder has denied that claim.
