At MSC Software we are continuously working to improve the Adams user experience. This webinar focuses on a couple of key workflow improvements in Adams Car via the ability to create model variants and event sets.
As is generally known, it is difficult to build just one model that serves many analysis purposes. A more typical scenario is that a variety of similar models are built over time and the newer models are variations of the older models. In a recent version of Adams Car we added a capability that will allow you to configure and save multiple assembly variants and subsystem variants in a single Adams Car assembly file. What does this do for you? This powerful feature results in a significantly more compact database, significantly easier file management and makes it easy to switch between model variants.
Another recent innovation is the ability to create ability to store event inputs in an Adams Car session, and then group them into Event Sets. These event sets are persistent between Adams sessions and work with the Adams Car Event Browser. This allows users to capture their organization's "standard work" in event sets and Assemblies with variants to avoid duplication of work.
