An Iranian court has put a young couple in jail for 10-and- a-half years. The couple were arrested for dancing in front of one of Tehran's main landmarks. The court saw the dance as a symbol of defiance against the regime. Astiyazh Haghighi and her fiance Amir Mohammad Ahmadi were arrested in November 2022. Video of the couple dancing in front of Azadi Tower in Tehran also went viral. Haghighi was seen without a Hijab in defiance of the Islamic republic's strict rules. Watch the video for more.
