Home Affairs and Law Minister K Shanmugam said it was time to update the Maintenance of Religious Harmony Act that ensures religious harmony in Singapore, as the world faces deepening social divisions. He was speaking at a forum on religion, extremism and identity politics, organised by the Institute of Policy Studies and the Home Affairs Ministry.
