The Gyanvapi Temple at Kashi and the Krishna Janmasthan Temple at Mathura are just two prominent examples of Hindu sacred spaces under alien occupation. There are thousands of such temples across the country that are waiting to be liberated. But a section of Hindu society holds the view that such an attempt is silly and counterproductive, given the obstacles on the path. In this conversation with Ashish Dhar, J. Sai Deepak (Advocate, Supreme Court of India) and Pankaj Saxena (Co-founder - Bṛhat) take a deep dive into this issue and eloquently demolish many false ideas about this extremely critical civilisational project while educating us on its cultural and legal dimensions.
