One administration police officer was injured when a group of suspected al Shabaab militia attacked a police station at Diff, in Wajir, near the border with Somalia. Wajir county commissioner Michael ole Tialal said the attack that happened at 1.30am was executed by a group of about 150 militants. It's reported they wanted to loot the armoury before they were repulsed.
