The 2016-17 College Football Season has been an interesting season. And despite the existence of a four team playoff their was still controversy over who should have been given the right to compete for a national title. Should Penn State have gotten in for winning the toughest conference in America? Should Oklahoma have been given a shot despite their two tough non-conference losses. What about MAC Champion Western Michigan, they are undefeated? So what if an 8-Team college football playoff existed with conference champions automatic qualifiers and a group of five representative along with two at large teams?
