The winemakers of Istria have been proudly producing four colours of wine for centuries. Beside the excellent reds and whites, Istria is also known for its rosé. In the last few years, the aromatic orange wine, produced according to ancient methods of must fermentation, joined these traditional colours. The favourable location of the family-owned vineyards, where knowledge and skills are passed down through generations, gives a particular flavour and depth to the local wines. The warm Mediterranean winds carry the sea air to the surrounding hills where the grapes ripen in the sun-kissed vineyards.
Upon request, it is possible to arrange a visit to the wine cellars and take a stroll through the vineyards of different winemakers.
