Prime Minister Narendra Modi sounded the poll bugle in Jharkhand’s Palamu district, ahead of assembly elections in the state. Addressing a rally he said the Jharkhand government has worked day and night to end corruption in the last five years. Targeting the Congress, PM said the dispute over Lord ram's birthplace in Ayodhya was stalled by the Congress. "Had they wanted, a solution could've been found much earlier. But they didn't do that, they cared about their vote bank. Such thinking of the Congress affected the country," said PM. Assembly elections in Jharkhand are scheduled to be held from November 30 to December 20. The Congress has forged an alliance with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) to take on the BJP.
