What is Belgium known for? You would probably mention the fries, the chocolate, the waffles, Stromae... Many Eurocrats who have moved to Brussels have left left their own homes to come live in the rainy country - definitely a far cry from the sunny coasts of Italy or Spain! (It's become an expat pastime to complain about the weather or the bureaucracy...)
And yet, the beginning of this year also marks a very important and exciting milestone - the Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union!! (Bet that's not what you thought we'd say, eh?) So, with that in mind, this song celebrates the great things that Belgium has to offer - outside of Brussels and the European institutions. Watch now to see for yourself!
