In this video adventure vlog, Nellie bakes a DIY giant s'more. In fact, to the best of our knowledge, it's among the largest s'mores ever made! It actually took a few days to make it because of all the time involved and the different layers of marshmallows that were required.

Then we took it out to the wilderness and Bryce held the gigantic diy marshmallow on a large stick while Nellie torched it with a flamethrower. It was so intense and hot that we ended up putting the marshmallow on some firewood and used the flamethrower on that instead. AGAIN DON'T TRY THE FLAMETHROWER OR TORCH IDEA ON YOUR OWN. THIS WAS ALL DONE WITH PROFESSIONALS.

Marshmallow Recipe! (We 4x's the recipe and made layers in a pot)

LARGE MARSHMALLOW
In a small bowl, soak gelatin in 8 tbsp cold water. Set aside.
Combine granulated sugar and 1/2 cup of water in a large heavy saucepan.
Cook and stir over medium heat until dissolved.
Add gelatin and bring to a boil. 240 degrees.
Remove from heat. Pour into a large mixing bowl and let stand until partially cool.
Add salt and vanilla extract.
Beat with an electric mixer until soft and double in volume. About 10-15 minutes.
Pour into prepared pan to about 1/2 inch thick.
Set to cool until it will not stick to your finger.
Cut into 1.5 inch pieces and roll in powdered sugar.
Variation: toasted coconut can be substituted for powdered sugar.
Variation: other flavorings can be substituted for vanilla extract.

GRAHAM CRACKERS
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup margarine, softened 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup milk
Sift together the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda; set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine, brown sugar and honey until light and fluffy. Stir in the sifted ingredients alternating with the milk and vanilla. Cover dough and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Divide the chilled dough iinto quarters. On a well floured surface, roll the dough out one quarter at a time iinto a 5x15 inch rectangle. Divide into rectangles using a knife. Place rectangles ointo ungreased cookie sheets. Mark a line down the center of each one, and prick with a fork. For a cinnamon flavored cracker, sprinkle with a cinnamon sugar mixture before baking.
Bake for 13 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks.
