At the banks of Lake Alajuela, our group took a dugout, wooden canoe to get to the community. The river is an essential part of their everyday life, serving a road between villages, main source of food, and providing water. ⛰🦜
Welcomed by the sound of drums and music, the village of Parará Purú is alive with colorful, cultural dresses, traditional dances, and fresh food. 🐟🍈🌺
The nature surrounding the site is equally breathtaking, from curving streams to white waterfalls and sky-high trees of all shades and colors.
