In this vlog we escape to magical Paronella Park, near Cairns in Far North Queensland. It's a weird and wonderful rainforest retreat created in the 1930s by José Paronella, not far from Innisfail. Paronella Park has two castle ruins that have been reclaimed by the jungle and there is also the majestic Mena Creek Falls that lights up at night. We had tons of fun exploring Paronella Park on two tours and stayed overnight in a log cabin, which Lola loved. We even had to negotiate a treacherous footbridge across the raging waterfall to get to the pub for dinner. If you ever find yourself in Far North Queensland Paronella Park is well worth a visit - it's unlike anywhere else in the world. Just don't ask Tom's dad for directions to the toilets!
