Pineapple pachadi is one of the main authentic kerala sadhya dishes. In some places it is also called pineapple kichadi. Techniacally it is a chutney but serve like a curry.
Ananas ka ye kichadi khatta meetha or thoda thikka ke saath athi he. Ye recipe vegetarian log ko or non-vegetarian log ko equally acha laktha hai. toh ek bar try karke dekiye ...... friends.
Ingredients for Kerala pineapple recipe
Pineapple 950 g
Cumin Seeds - Half tsp
Crushed Mustard Seeds -Half tbsp
Salt to Taste
Turmeric Powder - half tsp
Red Chilli Powder - half tbsp
Mustard Seeds (For Tempering) - Half tbsp
Jaggery Powder - Quarter cup (40 g)
Curd / Yogurt - 3 to 4 tbsp
Dry Red Chilli - 3
Nos
Curry Leaves -2 Nos
Green Chilli - 2 to 3 Nos
Coconut Oil - 3 tbsp
Coconut - Half (350 g grated)
Please Note: I use coconut oil for most of the South Indian dishes, especially authentic Kerala recipes. However, you can use any cooking oil according to your personal choice. If there is any must use scenario, I will tell you that in the video.
