Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the president of Sri Lanka, visited the Mahabodhi Temple at Bodhgaya after arriving in Bihar earlier today. Senior government representatives greeted him at the Gaya Airport when he arrived. The President visited the revered Bodhi tree and offered prayers in the temple's sanctum sanctorum, according to BTMC Secretary Mahashweta Maharathi. He then went to the temple complex's seven locations connected to Lord Buddha, and finally he heard the Dharma bell ring at Sadhana Udyan.
