Transaction Services (write back) are not supported in VI dashboards (as for version 10.5). However we can use HTML container to workaround that:
- Create normal Report Services document with transaction services configured
- generate link to that document
- append this at the end of the URL : &hiddensections=header%2Cpath%2CdockTop%2CdockLef?t%2Cfooter
- create your VI dashboard
- add HTML Container and paste the URL
- try out your transaction - in order to refresh data first click "Submit" in RS document body, then click "Refresh" in VI dashboard interface.
