This video provides instructions for how to setup the Cronus Zen using the new firmware (v2.2.3) on the PS5 directly (without using remote play) and connect adaptive controllers including the Xbox Adaptive Controller and Quadstick to the PS5 through the Cronus Zen. Please note that you must update the Zen to the latest firmware (v2.2.3) in order for this method to work correctly. This method is easier compared to the prior firmware (v2.2.2). Following these instructions will allow the Cronus Zen to connect adaptive controllers to the PS5 even after the January 24th update that originally blocked the Cronus Zen from working on the PS5. Please note that if the console or controller is turned off, the user will have to repeat some of the steps in the video to reconnect the Cronus Zen.
