We find out about Korina’s backstory, and it turns out that she hacked a copy of Pirates of the Caribbean 2. She also released it online way before the movie was scheduled to be released. While that isn’t what happened in real life, it is what happened to the fifth Pirates film. It was hacked, stolen, and held for ransom. According to the filmmakers, changing which film was hacked let the story line up better for Korina’s age.
