National Seismological network of Ukraine (SNU) works on a base of the Subbotin Institute of geophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv. The SNU is represented by a small number of stationary seismological stations of the central, south and east parts of Ukraine: «Kiev-IRIS», «MI02-Poltava», «MI03-Skvyra», «MI04-Dnipro», «MI05-Stepanivka», «MI06-Nova Galeshyna», «MI07-Mykolaiv», «ODS-Odesa», «SNK-Zmiinyi» and «MIU-Kryvyi Rih». There are 20 hand-made observation points of the Carpathian seismological net on the west of Ukraine. The group of seismologists started to create new general collection center of seismological data in Ukraine (Kyiv) in 2021. The seismological observation points were combined into a virtual network and practically switched to the Seiscomp.
For that moment in the framework of agreement about cooperation our seismological servers were moved to the ?loud Servers of the Department of World Data Center (National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”) and Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. It was raised the virtual private network (VPN) for secure tunnel between our stationary stations. Odesa, SNK (station from Zmiinyi Island) observation points connected in real-time. The seismologic station «Kiev-IRIS» (Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology) restarted. «MI02-Poltava», «MI05-Stepanivka», «MI07-Mykolaiv» and «MI06-Nova Galeshyna» stations are available now.
Today's realities give us an understanding of what the number of seismological observation points of the SUN does not actually provide seismic observation to the territory of Ukraine and don't allow to reliably determining the level and quantitative characteristics of its seismic hazard.
