So, this is my journey onboard Batik Air from Yogyakarta International Airport to Jakarta/Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
This was my first experience trying Yogyakarta International Airport as my departing point. The airport was not yet finished, but I was stunned. The check-in agent wasted no time in order to check me in, and it was done in less than a few minutes. The flight was almost empty in business but almost full in the economy.
Boarding was made on time. I was first to board, and I was welcomed by several crews. I was seated in the first row of economy class, and what I found was amazing - the aircraft has been fitted with IFE! From what I know, Batik Air's newer aircraft didn't feature an IFE until somewhere in 2019.
Take-off was 4 minutes ahead of schedule, and soon after, the snack service began. I was given a piece of bread with a bottle of water - fair enough for a 45-minute flight. The IFE was awesome - it was the new one instead of the old Lumexis-made one, however, it lacked music selections which was disappointing.
The landing was 23 minutes ahead of schedule, and our bags came up fast. I took photos with some of the crews, but not all as I figured out that the plane was brought back to Yogyakarta International, which was out of my prediction.
Overall, this flight was a flight of pure awesomeness. The crews were friendly, and they kept me enjoying this flight. I also would like to appreciate the ground staff and the passengers of this flight for being very organized and disciplined so that the boarding and disembarking process was done very fast.
