The day started with leaving home at 05:45 to make it south in time for the jubilee to come through dawlish along the sea wall….
She’d been let through instead of the booked stop at dawlish Warren it ran straight through meaning she was giving some speed….
With dawlish being a new location for me I had to get this right…

The second shot for the return I’d head for hemerdon bank, this is a steep incline leading out from laira. The double chimney’d 3 cylinder jub tackling the 1 in 40 gradient with ease without diesel assistance too!


The weather for today was exceptionally good too meaning plenty of sunshine heat and lighting for the shots needed for the day. I could of got her multiple times this tour but decided with 2 bangers instead of a 3-4 shot video…. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed going out filming it!
