Scott Keeter, senior survey adviser at Pew Research Center, says supporters of Donald Trump and other populist candidates tend to be suspicious of institutions they see as part of the establishment, and can be underrepresented in polling samples. Pollsters are using new statistical techniques to attempt to correct for that.
