We spent most of the day around West Belfast and the Peace Wall to get a closer look at some of the murals and memorials that we missed out on the day before. First, we went in to city centre for a lunch and a pint at a couple of places we wanted to stop at while we were in Belfast.
For lunch, we visited Granny Annie's, which was more expensive than many other places, and I was greatly underwhelmed with the food. It's a cool looking place, but I think they put all their effort into decor instead of cooking.
For pints, we went to Bittle's Bar. I started off with a bit of banter and began asking about half pints. I recently read an article about them pretty much banning half pints and I thought it would be a bit of craic to get into. He soon found that I was only joking and we received our adult sized glasses of Guinness.
The rest of the day, we stayed in West Belfast, then ended the day by catching a flick at the cinema in Kennedy Centre, then grabbed some takeaway from the nearby chippy and enjoyed a nice evening in the back garden.
