This sonata was recorded by ARPARLA before Christmas, on December 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. This sonata, as basically all the Rosary sonatas (excluding n.1 and n.16), demands the use of a scordatura, that in this specific case is: B3—F#4—B4—D5.
This Sonata refers to the reading of the Gospel that tells the moment of the nativity, the incredible light, the angels the e shepherds, and the scene of the crib. The tension given by the tension of the tuning in the violin well describe the atmosphere of delicacy of this sonata.
The use of Rhetorical strategies connects the different characters of the story with their musical solutions adopted in the sonata.
May art, visual and aural, bring hope and growth for a better world in the future.
