Mitsubishi facelifts its Space Star urban car in a bid to maintain the Japanese automaker’s sales momentum in Europe.

The new Space Star comes in two trim levels: Motion, featuring six airbags, traction and stability control, emergency braking signaling system and light and rain sensors; and Kaiteki, offering 15-in. wheels, turn signals integrated in the mirrors, Grand Lux upholstery and keyless ignition.

An infotainment system with a 7-in. or (18-cm) screen allows smartphones to be linked and integrates a navigation system, as well as USB sockets and digital radio.

Power comes from an 80-hp, 1.2L gasoline 3-cyl. A 5-speed manual transmission and a CVT are offered.

The 2020 Space Star’s starting price in Spain is €11,850 or $12,800 at today's exchange rates.
