We need 20,000 signatures by 11th May so the Parliament can help protect Religious Freedom!

There are laws in Australia & NSW that prevent discrimination based on sex, race, culture, age, etc. There are no such laws regarding discrimination on religious grounds. NONE!
Currently there is secular aggression against religion, meaning that there are non-religious groups who push that, for example, religious based schools should not discriminate on who they hire as their staff - they should be forced to employ non-religious people who want to work there. This would undermine the basic values and standards of the school & thus society.
A Christian school runs on Christian values. Secular aggression says that they should not be closed off to non-religious people & that closing off employment of non-religious people is a discrimination. This is twisted logic.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights says that you cannot use your human rights to undo the Human Rights of another. But this is what is being attempted right now.
It is a threat to ALL religions. Not just Christians.
There was legislation formulated over two years from 2019 to 2021 to add to the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act, the amendment is called The Religious Freedoms and Equality Bill.
The proposed legislation DOES provide protections against Religious discrimination.
The petition asks people to sign for that legislation to be adopted in full.

20,000 signatures are needed to trigger a debate in Parliament.

JOINT PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE LINKS
This Proposed legislation was formulated from mid 2019 and was then reviewed by 14 Members of Parliament in a Joint Parliamentary Select Committee over 9 months from June 2020 to March 2021.
There were 192 written submissions, 5 days of Testimonies and 20,000 survey respondents.
11 of the 14 Members supported the legislation which was also supported by the majority of Faith Groups and Leaders in their submissions.
