In both positions he took a leading interest in the environment, helping to oversee the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency and brokering the Montreal Protocol to address depletions in the Ozone Layer. Today, Secretary Shultz is a distinguished fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He is particularly interested in bridging ideological divides to address climate change and renewable energy.
Dan Rather has a resume that reads like a history book.
